Regional Semi-Finals

Game 17, Chapter 4: 15 May at STA vs. Topeka West in Regional Semis (10-0)

We accomplished most of what we wanted to do in this match.  We wanted to move the ball 1-2 touch, attack the baseline to improve our crosses, cash some deadballs, and to spread our scoring out over the entire half.

Kate Kutey had 3 assists off her corner.  Freshman Ellie Smith scored her first varsity goal.  We had a nice 3-frosh goal when Deladarantaye attacked the baseline from center midfield, T'ed it back through a Cox dummy that Smith then placed in the left corner of the goal.  That was nice.

The EKL went 8-1 in the first round of playoffs with only St. James losing, but to another EKL school, Mill Valley.

We move to 10-7, winning our 4th straight, heading to Wyandotte on Thursday for the Regional Final.
